Hi Folks – As you all put the finishing touches on a winning Pinewood Derby car, I’d like to take a moment to ask for your help.

These type events are the cornerstone to what is a unique experience only found in Scouting. Organizing and putting on these events takes significant effort, but spreading the work across many volunteers is our goal.

With that said, tomorrow I’ll be available to review service opportunities. We’re looking for each family to commit to 8 hours of service time for the Scouting year. We think spending what amounts to one work day per Scouting year is easy for Scouting Parents like yourselves.

Service opportunities include, event planning and execution, outing planning and execution, Treasurer Assistant, Communications, Scoutbook updates, awards procurement, etc.

Please know Key Service Team Lead positions are needed as well – Treasurer for example.

NOTE – Many of the current key volunteers are aging out this year, so your ability to step in and fill those rolls is critical.
