This month instead of making sandwiches as we normally do, we thought it would be a good idea to visit the Union County Community Shelter.
Please join us for our unique Sandwich Saturday on February 26th from 1:30-2:15/2:30 at the Community Shelter of Union County for a tour and a talk from Jeff Rogers the Development Director. Learn how our sandwich donations help the community, the types of programs offered by the Community Shelter of Union County and about homelessness. We will tour the kitchen, pantry and the outside play area. Due to Covid we can not go into the dorms, but we will gain a better understanding about how many people are just one paycheck away from homelessness, how homelessness is growing in our county and how we can help.
