Monday, April 8, 2024, total solar eclipse will cross North America, passing over Mexico, the United States, and Canada. The total solar eclipse will begin over the South Pacific Ocean.
It looks like NC would only see it as a partial solar eclipse, but very cool nonetheless.
For Charlotte area, we will only get a partial solar eclipse, so check out the NASA website below to see what time you should get outside.

Remember….NEVER LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE SUN W/O PROPER EYE PROTECTION, YOU COULD GO BLIND, OR SERIOUSLY DAMAGE YOUR VISION. Eye protection is available online at a very inexpensive cost for paper framed glasses.
