Update***Files attached with maps. Really hoping we get a good turnout for this parade. Waxhaw is asking walkers like our group to be in line and ready by 9:30.

We are entry 39 (Green) and we will line up on the same street as last year: N. Providence St. (in map of this post)
For each scout that is walking the parade, they must have 1 parent with them. Parking near the end of the route would be ideal for parents to pickup.
Please come hydrated, and bring a water bottle in a backpack or wagon. We will have candy suckers to hand out along the route. Class-A or Class-B uniform & shorts are encouraged.

Run of Show (July 4, 2024):
• 8:00am – Arrive/Parade Lineup Begins
• 9:30am – All Parade Participants Must Be Within Their Assigned Location. No Parade Entry Beyond 9:30am. Late arrivals may be turned away.
• 9:45am – Pre-Parade activities (Welcome, National Anthem, Pledge of Allegiance)
• 10:00am – Parade Starts

This would be event 2 of 3 in order to earn a Summertime Pack award like last year.

Join us as we walk the Waxhaw Independence Parade on Thursday, July 4th. Step-off is at 10am.
More details to come as the town of Waxhaw provides them.
Last July 4th we walked the route, pulled wagons, and handed out flyers for the pack, and suckers. It is a very short walk (around 1 mile). We must register no later than Friday, June 14.
