Please join us in the Fellowship Hall at Weddington Methodist Church (one story building on the corner across from the Shell station) for Scout Sandwich Sat on May 18 at 9:00am. We are making 500 sandwiches for the Union County Shelter. We are officially out of funds and looking for sponsors. If you feel led to sponsor or your company could sponsor, please contact Amy Hasty at amyphasty@gmail.com. Also, it is time to appoint new leads for this awesome mission since the Hasty family is moving up to Boy Scouts. Please prayerfully consider leading or co-leading this mission. Reach out to Amy to learn what’s involved—she’s willing to keep serving as a church liaison and advisor (maybe even co-leader).

This is a great service opportunity for the Scouts and their families to help others! Scouts will come together to help the community by making sandwiches for the Union County Community Shelter.

It’s a simple process, it’s fun, and will help the scouts understand the importance of service and giving back to their community.
