January 25 will be a distribution day for dens to distribute their Scouting for Food bags and fliers to their chosen neighborhood(s). The more area we can canvas, the greater the yield.
On a den level, please coordinate which neighborhoods you will canvas. The following Saturday 2/1 is when you go back to collect bags of food donated. We will give out the bags and flyers provided by council.

Some info from Council:
January/ February
• Make sure all homes in your area receive a bag on distribution day, January 25th. It is imperative that hangers are distributed that day – not earlier or later – as it will coincide with our publicity efforts.
• Do not put hangers in or on mail boxes. Please place hangers at front doors.
• Make sure your same assigned area is combed for food on collection day, which is February 1st. Do not start earlier than 9am and please try to be done picking up bags by noon.
• On the collection day, also pull unused hangers off front porches so they can be recycled.
• Please note: it is encouraged that after you comb your area, re-sweep the neighborhood, as some residents will remember to put food out later in the day.
