March 21-23, 2025
Copperhead Island is located a short distance away (Steel Creek area)
15200 Soldier Rd, Charlotte, NC 28278
Reserved just for the families of Pack 99. This is a wonderful park located on a peninsula of Lake Wylie. We are locked into the park by a locked gate. The park has running water, a large community shelter for gathering and meals, and bathrooms with a shower (not sure about hot water).
Last year to give back, we conducted a thorough litter-sweep of the trails and campsites and collected an estimated 60lbs of litter!
Attached in files here, is a small list of camping equipment to consider bringing. If you have horseshoes, please bring them.
Please RSVP via Team App (including the number of members of your family)
Price: TBD This will be a minimal cost per person to provide food for meals.
Some activities will include:
Fishing
Hiking
Campfire
Litter-Sweep
Beach Volleyball
Camping and Cooking Workshops (for adults and kids)
Horseshoes
Fellowship
Agenda: TBD
