Please remember to bring a wagon, dress warm in Class-A uniform, and have eaten breakfast for fuel.

End update…..

Scouting for Food is our annual food drive to help those in need that live in our local communities. We usually place bags/ with door hangers in a selected neighborhood the Saturday (1/25) before and then on Saturday morning (2/1) Scouts will return to pick up bags stocked with food, bring it to Fellowship Hall and then send it to the food pantry. We are looking for non-perishable food items that can be donated to the food pantries. Council will provide the door flyers, and we will provide those on distribution day 1/25.

If you aren’t able to meet as a group to do this activity, you can still drop off any items you want to donate, to Fellowship Hall on Saturday morning (2/1).

Between our Pack and Troop we usually end up collecting over 1500lbs of food per year.

Drop off deadline between 10:30 and 12pm at the fellowship hall of Weddington Methodist. Call James if you are early or late.
